The consumer behaviour is the function of the economic status of consumers and the distance they are prepared to travel to avail of the lower and higher order functions. This problem is very skillfully conceived, analysed and discussed by the authors in the present volume. \nThis book is the first of its kind in the field of Urban Geography on any oriental city. It is a successful attempt towards the analysis of urban consumer bahaviour in a sprawling and fast growing urban complex like the Patna Urban Agglomeration.
