Sanskrit and Manipuri

This book is a new approach in the field of linguistic study. In this book a comparative study in various linguistic aspects of the both Sanskrit and Manipuri has been explored. There is a chapter in this book� Historical Connect between Sanskrit and Manipuri, which has highlighted on long and gradual contact among Sanskrit speaking migrants and the native people in Manipur. It is of great interest to observe that Sanskrit belonging to Indo-European language group and Manipuri belonging to Tibeto - Burman language group have many similarities.
