| About the Authors | About Author Dr. Shukdeo Sahu was born on 1st July 1953 at village-Ghat Bhaga Bandh, P.O.-Lahati, Thana-Mahagama, Dist.-Godda (Jharkhand). After his matriculation in 1970 from J.N. High School Mahagama, he did B.A. Hons. in Geography securing first class in the year 1975 from T.N.B. College, Bhagalpur (Bihar). He completed his M.A. in Geography and secured first class in the year 1978 from Bhagalpur University. He received National Scholarship during P.G. studies. Then, he was selected for U.G.C J.R.F. He joined Chas College, Chas (Bokaro) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography in 1985. He was transferred to R.S. More College, Govindpur (Dhanbad) in the month of December 2012 as a Head, Department of Geography. He retired on June 2018 from the same college, under Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag. Dr. Sahu obtained his Ph.D. Degree in 1998 from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag. He is the life member of different learned societies like the Association of Geographers Bihar and Jharkhand (AGBJ) and National Association of Geographers of India (NAGI). He has presented more than ten research papers at various conferences and seminars. He has successfully guided and produced many research Scholars. As a convener and resource person he has organized several seminars and workshops to enlarge the understanding of Geography. |
